Select the Cochrane Library result(s) you wish to send to RefWorks.

Either tick the result(s), then click Export Selected, or click Export All:

In the pop-up window, choose you operating system (PC, Unix/Linux, or Mac), and indicate if you want the abstract to be sent to RefWorks as well as the basic citation information. Then click Export Citation:

A file called citation-export.txt will be created. Save this file somewhere on your computer. You can save it under a different name but, if you open the file, do not make any changes to its contents, otherwise RefWorks won't be able to 'read' it.

Then, in RefWorks, click References > Import:

In the Import References pop-up window, choose Queen's University Belfast as the Import Filter/Data Source, then choose Cochrane Library as the database.

Click Choose File, and find the citation-export.txt file on your computer - click it, then click Open.

Use the Import Into Folder option to choose the RefWorks folder to which you'd like the Cochrane results to be added.

Then click Import.

RefWorks will then extract the Cochrane results from the citation-export.txt file, and add them to the folder you specified (they will also be added to your Last Imported Folder).
