How do I register for HSC Library membership?

Employees of the Health and Social Care Services (HSC) and Public Safety (PS) authorities are entitled to become registered members of the Medical and HSC Library.

HSC and PS staff should complete the registration form on the HONNI website and either come in person to one of the Medical and HSC Libraries or post the form to the address on the registration form. Forms must be accompanied by proof of employment within the Health and Social Care Services; for example a photocopy of work ID, a copy of a letter of appointment or a copy of a recent payslip. If you are unsure whether you are eligible for HSC Library Membership, contact your nearest HSC Library Branch where staff will be happy to advise you.

Once registered, HSC library members can borrow books from any Medical and HSC Library site as well as access an extensive collection of electronic resources (books, journals and databases) through the HONNI website.
