The Library incurs a charge for providing material by Inter-Library Loan. The amount you are charged and how you are charged depends on the category of library member you are.
QUB Staff and Postgraduate Research Students
ILL requests are paid for by your School. Each year the Schools are allocated a set number of electronic vouchers for ILLs for the academic year. Book and journal article ILLs will incur a charge of 1 electronic voucher from your School's allocation, though requests for other types of material may require additional electronic vouchers.
QUB Postgraduate Taught and Undergraduate Students
If the item you require is not available from QUB Library stock, you may be able to apply for an ILL if you are given permission by your School. This request will be paid for by your School.
HSC Library Members
Please refer to the information on the HONNI website for further details about ILL charges.
AFBI Library Members
Please refer to the information on the AFBI Library website for further details about ILL charges.
Associate Library Members may make use of the Inter-Library Loan service for an additional charge of £10 per request, payable on receipt of the item; an additional Copyright Cleared charge of £9 will be incurred if your ILL photocopy is for commercial purpose.
