What happens when my Inter-Library Loan arrives?

For loan items, you will receive a notification from the Library. This is typically an email and will indicate the details of the item, where you need to collect the item from or whether it will be posted out to you. The latter depends on the category of library member you are. You should go to the Borrower Services Desk in the relevant library in order to collect your Inter-Library Loan.

Restrictions are placed on some material, requiring that it be used in the library only.

Some journal articles are supplied electronically from the British Library via a link to the requester's email account. In order to access the article, you will need to be registered for a British Library On Demand account.
