How do I add money to my Associate Membership library smart card?

Your smart card is another name for your Associate Membership library card. You can load money on to your card for printing and copying and for use in the restaurants and cafes on the Queen's campus. As an associate, you can add funds to your card via cash uploader machines in the printer areas (details below). There is no facility to add funds to your associate smartcard online.
Using the cash uploader machine:
- insert your card
- insert your money
- once the money has loaded onto your card, press STOP and remove the card
Please note, the cash uploaders accept £1 coins, £2 coins or bank notes. It does not give out change. If you use the cash uploader, it will instantly upload the money on to your card and you can print/copy immediately.
The cash uploader machines can be found in the following locations:
- McClay Library - in all of the print rooms
- Medical Library - located near the student computing area in the library
- Biomedical Library - in the small study area behind the library office
