Visitor printing, photocopying and scanning on the Multi Functional Devices (MFD)

Any Library user who does not have a Smartcard will need to purchase a Visitor Printing Card before printing, photocopying or scanning. These can be purchased at any Library branch. Ask for assistance locating them.

From your PC send a print job to the print queue by selecting ‘print’ on your document. Remember to choose the colour or black and white print queue from the list. Then go to a Print Room with visitor printing facilities and use both your Visitor Printing Card and your log-on details to print the document.

Scanning and Photocopying

The Visitor Printing Card can be used in any MFD to photocopy and scan.

When you have inserted your card into the card reader, select STOP on the reader to deactivate the printing option and allow the photocopying and scanning functions to operate.

These functions will not work, however, if the card has no money on it (even for scanning which is free).
