Please note: the Library will be cancelling its RefWorks subscription at the end of December 2020. RefWorks users should switch to using another reference management tool such as EndNote or Mendeley.

ReWorks Write-N-Cite is a piece of software that 'plugs into' Microsoft Word, making it possible for you to:

  • cite references stored in your RefWorks account directly in a Word document
  • create an instant bibliography of your cited references

RefWorks Write-N-Cite is installed on many PCs around the Queen's campus, including those in Student Computing Areas. You can start using it by opening up Word, clicking on the RefWorks/ProQuest tab and logging in with your RefWorks username and password.

If you want to use Write-N-Cite on your own PC or laptop, you will need to install it. For instructions on doing this, and other information about Write-N-Cite, see our RefWorks LibGuide.
