The Associate Membership Scheme has been temporarily suspended until further notice.  Current Associate Members are advised that their membership renewal date will be extended accordingly in response to the suspension, with the duration of time we are closed being added to your membership end date.  The Associate Membership Office will continue to operate remotely and will respond to any queries you may have via email during this time.  Should you have any questions regarding Associate Membership, please contact librarymembership@qub.ac.uk.

  1. Given the significantly reduced occupancy over the summer, and the continuing relaxation of pubic health restrictions, are there are any plans to consider restoring Associate Membership for the summer months?

  2. Hello Catherine, due to reduced capacity of the library to facilitate social distancing, the library is still only open to current staff and students of the University, and the Associate Membership Scheme remains suspended. SCONUL access is also suspended for the 2020/21 academic year. Library Services management are continuing to monitor the current situation as it evolves and the library website will also be updated with any changes. Also, please keep an eye on QUB's SCONUL Access webpage for updates: https://www.qub.ac.uk/directorates/InformationServices/TheLibrary/LibraryAccess/Membership/SCONULAccess/
