If you create an EndNote Online account that is linked to your QUB credentials, your account will offer some extra functionality that a standard EndNote Online account does not.

Please note: If you have already created a Web of Science account via QUB access, then you have already created, automatically, an EndNote Online account that reflects your QUB affiliation.

There are a number of ways to create a QUB-linked EndNote Online account:

On campus: use a QUB PC or a mobile device connected to QUB WiFi

  • Connect to the QUB network/WiFI using a student or staff PC, or a mobile device
  • Go directly to
  • Click Register
  • Complete registration process - IP address of your PC/device links you to QUB

Off campus

  • Create a Web of Science account by going to
  • Click Databases A-Z
  • Click W
  • Click Web of Science
  • Log in with your QUB number and password if prompted
  • Click Sign in > Register
  • Complete registration process - a QUB-linked EndNote Online account will be created for you automatically
