What does it mean when I see 'McClay Floor 1 (Biomedical)' on the library catalogue?

The Biomedical Library is now closed for refurbishment and will remain closed until mid September 2021.
Subject librarians have identified books that they anticipate will be high in demand over the summer, and these have been relocated temporarily to Floor 1, McClay Library. The term 'McClay Floor 1 (Biomedical)' refers to these high in demand books that have been temporarily relocated to Floor 1, McClay Library.
These books have been transferred to Floor 1 in the McClay Library (Back Journals area) and will be available there from 8th June. You can access these items as normal and borrow them using the self-service facilities in the McClay Library. There will be directional signs on Floor 1 to direct you to the appropriate area.
Unfortunately it is not possible to access any other books or material that is normally held in the Biomedical Library. These items have been put into storage during the refurbishment project and are not accessible.
