Clicking a Library Catalogue link to a 123Library e-book informs me that my login has failed - why?

Due to licensing restrictions, only a certain number of users can access Library e-books via the Library Catalogue at any one time.
Some of our e-books are accessible via a platform called 123Library. If, instead of being able to view an e-book, you are redirected to https://www.123library.org and advised that your login has failed, this means that other students are trying to access the e-book at the same time as you, so you won't be able to read the e-book at this time. You will need to wait a while, and then try accessing the e-book again.
