Library members can borrow books from any Queen's Library using their staff, student or library card or using the barcode function of the Queen's University mobile app.

Books can be borrowed at self-service stations at Borrower Services Desks in all Libraries.

You can place a request if all copies of the book you require are on loan.

You may also borrow: laptops (see below), phone chargers, headphones, laptop mice (McClay Library), universal laptop chargers (Medical and Biomedical Libraries)

You can find out more about borrowing and returning at the link below.

You will not be able to borrow if:

  • You don't have your library card or mobile app.
  • You have charges of £5 or over
  • You have very overdue books

You can look at the books that you have borrowed in the past through the My Account function.
