Web of Science Core Collection now features an AI-powered Smart Search tool.

Smart Search is not recommended for literature searches, especially scoping or systematic reviews requiring rigorous, controlled, and reproducible search methodology.

When accessed via the Library's Databases A-to-Z, Web of Science Core Collection should default to Advanced Search (Documents), which is the recommended option for running literature searches in this database.

However, the Smart Search tool may appear, depending on how you use, or navigate within, Web of Science Core Collection.

If this happens, click Advanced Search to exit Smart Search.
