Can I read an e-book from home (off campus)?

Yes, e-books can be accessed remotely from anywhere in the world.

To access an e-book, search for the title or ISBN on Library Search, and then filter by Availability > Available Online and Resource Type > Books.

Click on Available Online

You will be asked to login using your Queen’s username and password.

To access certain university resources securely, setting up Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required.

Sign in using your student or staff email address or full username 
e.g., j.smith@qub.ac.uk or 12345678@ads.qub.ac.uk

Approve the sign-in request using the Authenticator app.

To read or download most ebooks in the Library Catalogue, you will need Adobe Digital Editions on your device.

If you are using Adobe Digital Editions on your own device for the first time, you may need to authorize Adobe Digital Editions using an Adobe ID or a Vendor ID
