There are a few possible reasons why you are unable to access an e-book.

1. Are you a current student or member of staff? Only current students and staff will be allowed to access our online resources.

2. Are you trying to access the book from home? If you are, you must make sure you have gone through the Library Catalogue and logged in using your Queen's username and password.

3. Check your web browser. Sometimes there are problems loading through a particular browser, so try with a different browser and make sure that you have Javascript enabled and aren't blocking any pop-ups.

4. Some publishers only allow one user to look at the e-book at a time, others may also limit use to a small number of users at any one time. You will be able to access the item when the other user(s) have logged out. Please wait 10-15 minutes and try again.  If you still have problems, please contact your Subject Librarian

5. When you go to a supplier platform, you will be able to view all of their titles but our subscription only allows us access to some of them.  If it is a book that you might need for your studies please contact your Subject Librarian and they will discuss it with you.
