Can I download an e-book to read on my personal device, computer or smartphone?
Many of our e-books can be downloaded to mobile devices, however it does depend on which supplier they come from.
Generally, downloading them to an iOS or Android device requires either the use of Adobe Digital Editions. Additionally, an Adobe ID will be required.
Please see the E-books guide for further guidance on the requirements for some of our e-book suppliers.
In addition, all portable devices with browser support can be used to read the books online.
