The McClay Library holds copies of all Queen's University PhD theses. You can search for them in the Library Catalogue

Print theses are kept in the library store. They may not be borrowed but can be read in the library and can be requested using the Request button in the library catalogue. Requested theses will be ready for collection from the McClay Borrower Services Desk after 12pm the next day.

Alternatively, you can complete a request form at one of the library's Enquiry Desks. Theses requested on printed forms are collected from the store on the hour during staffed times so will be ready for collection at the Borrower Services Desk at around quarter past the hour.

Theses that have been digitised will be discoverable via the Library Catalogue.

Please note: If you are a student or staff member at another university, and wish to request a QUB PhD thesis, we offer digitisation via EThOS.  Please search EThOS for the thesis details and follow the instructions: https://ethos.bl.uk/Home.do or contact your interlibrary loan department at your home library for guidance.

All our print theses must be consulted on site.
