Please note: the Library will be cancelling its RefWorks subscription at the end of December 2020. RefWorks users should switch to using another reference management tool such as EndNote or Mendeley.

Select the SciFinder Scholar citations you wish to export by ticking the boxes next to your search results.

[1] Select Export (at the top right)

[2] In the popup box, select Tagged Format (*.txt) in the For: Citation Manager section

[3] Select Export at the bottom of the window

SciFinder export

Log into your RefWorks account.

Open the References drop-down menu and select Import

In the Import References popup window:

[4] Select CAS SciFinder from the Import Filter/Data Source drop-down menu

[5] Select Multiple Databases from the Database drop-down menu

[6] At the Select Text File box, click Browse to select the .txt file of your records

RefWorks SciFinder Import window

Click Import

Your records should appear in the Last Imported Folder
