On the library website, you will need your library username and password in order to access electronic resources, place a hold on material and access your library account.

Your username is the same as your library borrower number and is printed on your library card. Your password is given to you when you join the library. However if you have forgotten your password, you can use the 'Change/Forgotten Password' link on the 'My Account' login page to ask for your password to be reset.

  • Click on the Change/Forgotten Password link.
  • When asked 'Do you know your current password?', click on 'No'.
  • When asked 'Have you previously set up security questions?', click on 'No' if your security questions have never been set up.
  • Complete the temporary password form with the details requested and click on 'Submit'.

Your password will be reset and emailed to you. On receipt of your new password, you are advised to set up security questions so that your password can be retrieved if you forget it again.

If you are unsure about how to proceed, please contact your nearest  Library Branch where staff will be happy to advise you.
