Can HSC staff publish for free in journals subscribed to by the Healthcare Library?

HSC staff can publish their research open access, without having to pay article processing charges, in Oxford University Press (OUP) journals.

This is due to a Read & Publish agreement between OUP and Queen’s University Belfast (which manages the Healthcare Library of Northern Ireland).

This agreement runs until 31st December 2028.

Journals from other publishers are not covered by this agreement.
